Ian Kendrick Abstract Many major movements of organisations and countries in The West have been enabled by the use of thinking techniques that have their roots elsewhere and from long ago. The connections between some of the most advanced aspects of such modern thinking and their antecedents are often obscured and rarely referenced or acknowledged. In this talk, I will describe some of the most significant shifts that have taken place in the last fifty years and uncover a hidden source from Islamic culture.
