Zohor Idrisi - Short biography
Dr Zohor Shanan Idrisi is a scholar in the field of Muslim Heritage. She has done a PhD in History and Geography at the School of Oriental and African Studies and prepared another PhD thesis on the history of cuisine and agriculture in the Muslim world. Currently she continues to write and research on this field. She has published a whole range of scholarly articles in the field of agriculture and cuisine, especially in relation to the developments in the Muslim world and its influence on Latin Europe. Dr. Zohor Shanan Idrisi is a Research Fellow of the Foundation for Science, Technology and Civilisation (FSTC) and member of Muslim Heritage Awarness Group, the consulting body instituated by FSTC.
