Famous for its chapters on the planting and grafting of trees and bushes, it combines agronomic theory and practice, offering unique comments on the influence of the four elements (earth, air, water, and manure) on the life cycle of plants. 2. ʿUmdat al-ṭabīb fī maʿrifat al-nabāt (Basic plant manual for physicians).
